The Sky Over Corona

 I sit,
        On an abandoned railway line,
On either side a thicket of green.

My ears full of,
                         River Aude, spirit free,
                         Rushing, hurtling, chortling by.

Bathed in,
A deep blue, a clear blue,
                  Sometimes dimmed with blustery clouds.

My words,
                  Strain to express my heart.
